The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) issued a final rule in August of this year that mandates employer posting to employee rights under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA).  Many business owners assume the NLRA does not apply to them because their workforce is not unionized.  That is not the case.  The NLRA applies to most employers.

The posting requirment is effective Januay 31, 2012.  Employers can download the poster at http://www.nlrb.gov/poster.

There are exceptions to the posting requirment for certain types of business and businesses doing business under a certain volume.  If you would like to find out more or to determine if this rule applies to your business, please contact us.
